Holcutters are not hole saws. They are precision ground, heat treated tools that easily cut thru the stock rather than ripping, tearing, and pushing thru as do typical hole saws. They can produce holes 3X faster and cleaner than hole saws in sheet metal and have a dramatically extend tool life.
Blair offers two styles of Holcutters. High Speed Steel Holcutters and Carbide Tipped Holcutters.
- HSS Holcutters are great general purpose tools for holes in materials up to 1/8" thick. All sizes use one arbor with a patented Quad-Lead thread mounting system. HSS Holcutters are available in sizes from 11/16" up to 3" diameter.
- Carbide Tipped holcutters are great for general holemaking and offers improved performance in harder materials such as stainless steel. Sizes are available from 11/16" to 3" in diameter. All cutters include cutter, arbor, pilot and spring.
